Quinta das Brôlhas´s reputation goes back to the 17th Century, being in the family since 1605. In the last 20 years the vineyards were almost all restructured, only the necessary old vineyards have been kept for quality reasons. In the first decade of this century, two ancient farm houses were totally rebuilt to develop a Tourism project of “Casas de Campo” each one with swimming pool. They are very comfortable and carefully prepared to receive Douro Lovers Tourists, since these houses are recommended by the firm The Hoseasons Group, for people who wants to visit the Douro Region now “Unesco World Heritage”.
All the conditions were gathered to consolidate the Wine-Tourism in an architectural environment unique in this worldwide recognized region, being the farm awarded with the prize “Best of Wine Tourism 2006” given to Quinta das Brôlhas, by the Network of the Capitals of Great Vineyards.
The hallmark attraction is history, environment and hospitality as well as red or white Quinta das Brôlhas Reserva Wines, that can be comfortably tasted in this farm.
